P&C+ Insurance Exam Prep 2026 for iPhone and iPad · Effective October 15, 2026
Who we are
P&C+ is made by Kozmonos ("we", "us"), the operator responsible for the app and for this policy. Contact for privacy questions and requests: support@kozmonos.com. This policy covers the P&C+ app for iPhone and iPad and this page.
What P&C+ does not collect
- No account, sign-up or password, and no e-mail address, phone number, postal address or contacts.
- No precise location. The app never reads your GPS position.
- No advertising, no advertising SDKs, no advertising identifier (IDFA) and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No photos, camera, microphone, health or other sensitive data.
- No payment card details: purchases are handled by Apple.
What P&C+ keeps on your device and in your own cloud
- Study progress (your answers, scores, completed quizzes, bookmarks, flashcard ratings), the state and exam date you chose and your settings are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad.
- iCloud sync: on iOS 17 and later, P&C+ keeps a copy of your study progress in your own iCloud account (Apple's private CloudKit database), so it appears on your other devices and survives a new phone. We cannot read it.
- Google Drive backup: only if you connect it in Settings, P&C+ keeps the same copy in a hidden app folder in your Google Drive. The app asks only for access to that folder, not your other files; your Google account address stays on your device and we cannot read the copy.
Information we receive
| What | Examples | Service provider | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Study answers and setup choices | for each practice question: which question, which option you chose, whether it was correct, how long you took; flashcards you flipped and how you rated them; during setup: the state you are taking the exam in, your experience level, your biggest concern and your exam date | PostHog | under PostHog's standard retention; see "Keeping and deleting information" |
| Study results | quiz scores, accuracy, whether a quiz reached the passing mark, quizzes started, finished or abandoned, study session length | PostHog | as above |
| App usage events | screens opened, setup steps viewed and how long each took, bookmarks, explanations opened, app opened and closed, the Premium screen shown and the plan you looked at | PostHog | as above |
| Identifiers | an identifier the app creates when it is first installed, shared by PostHog, Sentry and RevenueCat so we can follow one installation across them, and the installation identifier PostHog creates; neither is your Apple Account nor an advertising identifier | PostHog, Sentry, RevenueCat | as long as the information it is attached to |
| Crash and error reports | where the code failed, app version, the steps and choices just before it, the values involved in the error, how long screens took to load; a short summary of each error also goes to PostHog | Sentry, PostHog | up to 90 days in Sentry; the PostHog summary as above |
| Location from your choices and connection | the US state you pick for your exam, and the approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your IP address; device model, iOS version, app version and language are sent alongside | PostHog, Sentry | as long as the event or report it is sent with |
| Purchases | the App Store receipt, whether Premium is active, and the plan, price, currency and transaction id of a purchase; RevenueCat also passes purchase, renewal and cancellation events to PostHog | RevenueCat, PostHog | while Premium is used, and as required for accounting |
Why we use it
We use the information above to provide P&C+ (practice quizzes, sync and Premium features), to find and fix crashes and errors, to understand which questions and features help people prepare and where they get stuck, to keep the app secure, and to know whether Premium is active. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not combine it with data from other companies to build profiles about you.
Who receives it
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. The service providers below process it only on our behalf, under their data processing terms:
- PostHog, product analytics (EU hosting): posthog.com/privacy
- Sentry, crash and error reporting: sentry.io/privacy
- RevenueCat, subscription status: revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple, App Store payments and iCloud sync in your own Apple Account: apple.com/legal/privacy
- Google, only if you connect Google Drive backup: policies.google.com/privacy
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Purchases
P&C+ Premium is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and never shares your payment details or Apple Account with us.
Keeping and deleting information
- On your device: deleting P&C+ removes everything it stored on the device.
- iCloud copy: open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage), P&C+, and delete its data.
- Google Drive copy: in Google Drive on the web, open Settings, Manage apps, P&C+, and choose "Delete hidden app data".
- Crash reports: deleted from Sentry after at most 90 days.
- Usage information and study answers: kept only as long as they help us run and improve P&C+, under PostHog's standard retention. We delete them on request (see "Your rights").
- Support e-mails: kept while we help you and deleted within 12 months, sooner on request.
How we protect information
All transfers are encrypted (HTTPS), access to our service accounts is limited to the people who build P&C+, and we review our providers' settings at least once a year. Data on your device and in iCloud is protected by Apple's built-in security, and the Google Drive copy by your Google account.
Your rights (EU, UK and elsewhere)
You can ask to access, correct or delete information about your use of P&C+, object to its processing, or ask us to restrict it, by writing to support@kozmonos.com. To find your records we may ask for your app version and approximate dates of use. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Our providers may process data outside your country (for example in the United States); they use the legal safeguards required for such transfers.
Children
P&C+ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used P&C+ and sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
California
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Changes
If we change how P&C+ handles information, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect, and describe significant changes in the app's update notes.
